Struggling.

I have so many mixed emotions lately. I know I said I was going to be positive, I am its just somethings off. Maybe its the fact that for once in the past 2 1/2 years I'm single and can breath on my own. I do get lonely and wish I had someone to share things with. But I'm going to feel that way for a little longer. I do wish I had someone to really talk to about going back to school. I have so many feelings about that and not really anyone I can reallllly share them with. I guess I'm going to have to figure this out on my own. Thats what being independent is anyway.

New year.

So it's a new year and it's time for a new me. I'm excited about this. I need to become a better person and stop being so selfish. I need to get out of the past and stop going back to past guys. Not saying I don't wanna be their friend but dating again is a no. I wanna see what I've been missing seeing as I've been in two relationships in the past 3 years. I'm not gonna be a skank I just wanna go on a date and have fun. I wanna do awesome in school and be awesome at work so come August I can move out. Its time for some positive changes and to have fun. 2011 is going to be my year. I can tell already. Its time to stop overreacting and worrying to being carefree and let things come as they do. I'm excited to change, and this year I'm really sticking to it.

I hope everyone had a very merry christmas and got everything they asked for. I got pretty much what I wanted, except for the blizzard we're experiencing right now. I'm guessing we have at least 15" on the ground right now and its awful. Hope everyone has a great new year as well!

New York Rangers v. Washington Capitals

Tonight I went over a friends house and we ended up watching the Rangers and Capitals game. If any of you do not know what that is-its hockey. I'm not a fan of either teams, especially the Rangers. But I have to give them some credit. They completely stole the game from the Capitals, 7-0. There were so many fights too.

During the 3rd period Ovechkin of the Capitals got a slapshot to the knee. I have a clip of one of the many fights of the night, the best part really. Its Dubinsky and Ovechkin before he was injured.

Make-Up Tutorials

One of my favorite things to do when I have the time is watch make-up tutorials on Youtube. I've come across one girl I really like-Tanya Burr. She does the best make-up it always looks flawless. Her username for her channel is pixi2woo. There are two other girls who are make-up artists as well and their username is pixiwoo. They all do great make-up.

The tutorial I chose today is "How to wear MAC Cranberry eyeshadow" it's a great color and every day look. I personally don't like the cranberry shade through MAC so I use Nars "Grenadines" Hope you enjoy her videos.

Product Review: YSL Pure Lip Gloss #7

I recently just bought the YSL Pure Lip Gloss in #7 Pure Sorbet from Sephora. Despite being a designer brand- I wasn't too pleased. I love the YSL line, but not for lip-wear. The color is fantastic, the packaging is beautiful, but the actual product doesn't deliver. It has a bit of a strawberry bubbalicious taste to it, which I love but it is a very sticky gloss. You don't need much when you use it. Its fairly translucent, despite the shade which is a pale pink. It adds a shine and a bit of color when put on top of a nude lip. It makes a pale pink lipstick look fabulous and glossy, especially if you are using a matte shade.

Today I wore it on top of my Revlon "Pale Pink" Matte lipstick. It looked great with the rest of my makeup.

All in all, the product, in my opinion is a bit mediocre and expected.

This is my first ever blog post! I want to really keep up with this thing. I'm going to write about a bunch of different topics. From my everyday life to fashion and politics. I'm going to post pictures, videos, websites, everything.

My first post will be a little bit about me. I'm 20 years old and I live in Massachusetts. I'm currently a student and a receptionist at a salon. I'm a very wild person and somewhat strange, but I take it in stride. I brace the little things. I have a handful of great friends and my life is anything but simple. I am a sister, daughter, and aunt. My niece is my world, she's perfect and I'm glad she was born into this world. I have two cats-one is retarded I call her satan or Lily the retard because she can be so nutty. She's precious and I'd never give her up.
